That is not assisstance. It is paying for a service. Just like government when they buy paper from a company, it is paying for a product.And if government would get completely out of businesses. they could maintain there own lighthouses and landmarks. Assistance is welfare.Food stamps. Public housing and the rebate checks to people who didn’t pay taxes.

In addition, the federal crop subsidy programs continue to fund the wealthiest farmers.
