how do i get government assistance? (medical)?
abdulmalak_atl asked:
Bipolar, mild schizophrenic, ADD, AD HD, dyslexia. Those are my wife’s conditions.
We used to have the money to pay for it but the way things are now we need assistance.
We’re in the state of Georgia.
Is there a website or department that I can go to to apply for assistance?

Find your county’s Department of Human Services, or Department of Family Services (It will have different names in different places.) They will have an application for you to fill out, and give you a list of the “proofs” you need. (ie. I.D., Social security card, pay stubs).
Good luck.
*edit* Follow the advice of the 3rd poster- that is really helpful!
Make sure you get a doctor to document that your wife has any of the mentioned conditions. Paperwork is the key! it takes time but hang in there
